Welcome to Chicago Mold Dog ("CMD," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and mold detection and inspection services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

1. Services Provided

Chicago Mold Dog provides mold detection, inspection, and related consultation services throughout Chicago and surrounding areas. Our inspections are conducted using medically aligned detection methods and industry-standard equipment to identify the presence of mold within a property at the time of inspection.

2. Scope and Limitations of Inspection

  • Our inspections reflect the condition of the property only at the specific date and time of the visit. Mold conditions can change due to moisture, weather, or other environmental factors after the inspection.

  • We do not guarantee the complete absence of mold in areas that are inaccessible, concealed within walls, ceilings, floors, or other structural elements, or otherwise not reasonably visible or testable during a standard inspection.

  • Test results and findings are based on samples and conditions observed at the time of service and are subject to laboratory analysis limitations.

  • Our services do not constitute a warranty, guarantee, or insurance policy regarding the future condition of the property.

3. Scheduling, Payments, and Cancellations

  • Appointments must be scheduled in advance and are subject to availability.

  • Payment is due as outlined in your service agreement or invoice, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests should be made at least [48 hours] before the scheduled appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee.

  • Prices for services are subject to change without notice, but any quote provided to you in writing will be honored for the timeframe stated in that quote.

4. Client Responsibilities

To ensure an accurate and safe inspection, clients agree to:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the property, including relevant areas to be inspected

  • Disclose any known mold issues, water damage, or structural concerns prior to the inspection

  • Ensure pets or other hazards do not interfere with the inspection process

  • Review and understand the inspection report and ask questions if any findings are unclear

5. Reports and Use of Findings

  • Inspection reports are prepared solely for the use of the client who requested the service and are based on conditions observed at the time of inspection.

  • Reports are not to be altered, and any reproduction or distribution to third parties should reference the report in its entirety to avoid misrepresentation of findings.

  • Recommendations for remediation, if provided, are advisory only. Chicago Mold Dog is not responsible for the performance of third-party remediation contractors.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chicago Mold Dog shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or reliance on our reports, including but not limited to property damage, health-related claims, or loss of income, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chicago Mold Dog, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of our services or violation of these Terms.

8. Website Use

  • All content on this website, including text, logos, graphics, and images, is the property of Chicago Mold Dog and may not be reproduced without permission.

  • You agree not to use our website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the site.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Cook County, Illinois.
